Spring
If there's one thing I can certainly do without in the spring it has to be the necessary cleaning... I spent a few days last week in San Antonio helping Kathie move out of her old place into a very spacious 3 bedroom home on the North East side of San Antonio, TX. I can't recall ever encountering so many problems within one specific move. Anything that could have gone wrong... did. It was as if the stars aligned to try and prevent us from ever getting her into the new local. On the morning of the move, San Antonio had one of the coldest days anyone there could ever remember... the only UHAL truck we could secure was located on the opposite side of town.... said UHAL truck decided to break down during a very crucial part of the move, leaving me stuck in the cold for about 2 hours until a Mechanic showed up to repair the desire demon. Upon having the truck repaired... the heater inside the truck decided to go on the fritz.
Then there's the Washer and Dryer... or as I like to refer to them "the furies". Let's just say that I dislike these appliances very much.
This past weekend, I spent a considerable amount of my Saturday converting my sisters old room into a functioning office for my parents house. I set up a few desks and a wireless print station so that everyone can log on and experiment on an old iMac I had stuffed into a closet. My parents appear to be warming up to the idea of using a computer... I've set them both up with an email accounts. Their needs are very minimal... but they dig having tremendous amounts of information at their fingertips.
If all goes well, I'll have more meaty entries before the close of the week.
