Apple Hi-Fi doesn't play nice with iPhone?
Picked up a few Universal Dock adaptors this morning for my iPhone this morning.
Much to my surprise - docking the iPhone into my Apple Hi Fi - gave me an interesting message.
the iPhone works fine in the hi-fi dock. it charges the phone too actually.
Chalk the Hi-Fi up as a 1st party product that sorta works with the iPhone.

You get the same message when you try the belkin fm transmitter. its so your music is not interrupted. however i am noticing the the HI-FI does not charge my battery. or it does charge the battery but takes it a while to recognized that it is charged (meanwhile getting low battery prompts) i wonder if that will effect battery life??
I too wondered what affect it could have on battery life. I've opted to cut back on how often I charge it through the Hi-Fi.
Hopefully Apple will make some form of statement.
