If there's one musical act that will forever be rediscovered by waves of new listeners it will be Pink Floyd.
I'll never forget the first time I listend to "Dark Side of the Moon", nor will I forget my purchase of "Wish You Were Here" and reading up on whom exactly they were missing.
Said person was Syd Barrett. Despite only appearing onone two albums (i thought he was only on the Pipers) and performing with Pink Floyd for 3 years... his shadow in rock n' roll is a rather amazing one.
Perhaps it was his slip in mental healthness.
A true legend.
