RIP - Arthur Lee

Hands down one of my favorite artists of all time, Arthur Lee, passed away last night after battling lymphoblastic leukemia.

My introduction to the psychedelic rock band LOVE came when I read an interview about the band in high school. Arthur was unapologetic about his influence in rock... so I dropped everything that afternoon and purchased Forever Changes on the strength of its cover.

Several years later while in Detroit, Arthur Lee went on tour and I had a chance to see him perform Forever Changes in its entirety.

He will be forever missed.
